Breast Augmentation – What Are The Facts?

Many years ago, women were really not satisfied with the shape of their breasts and they did few exercises to keep the breasts firm, but in vain. They rather grumbled than doing certain arm exercises to increase the bust.

There are many reasons to get breast augmentation: the purely aesthetic; to rebuild both looks and confidence after a mastectomy; occupation; or to rectify congenital chest wall deformities. Each of these reasons are valid and worth consideration, unfortunately in Great Britain, the state funded health care system (National Health Service) only recognizes two as creditable for funding: mastectomy or congenital wall deformity.

Many of you look to famous people seen in magazines without taking your own body type into account. The sizes you see on celebrities may not be the size that looks best on you.

Many of you also look at a friend’s results and want to choose the same options. This is not a good idea as you are likely a different shape and height than your peers. You will undoubtedly be unsatisfied if you are looking to others rather than taking the time to look at your own body structure.

In U.K. there are several private clinics that specialize in these procedures.

Your surgeon will take your measurements and ask important questions about the results you desire. Do you want to have breasts like women seen in playboy magazines or are you just looking for something to help you look confident but not unnatural? During your consultation you will have the opportunity to take photos with false cup sizes to see which size looks best on you.

Your idea of what is large or small is something important to discuss with your surgeon. Take pictures of both small and large breasts to your consultation. You should also bring pictures of celebrities that have looks that you like. They will work with your body type to make it fit for you.

When your consultation is over, your surgeon will use his expertise and personal data collected about you to make a suggestion as to which size would go best with your body. Keep in mind that the surgeon’s opinion is not the final decision on what you will look like. You will be unsatisfied if you do not make a sound decision on your own.
