How to stop panic attacks is the number one thing people suffering from this disorder are looking for and they’ll try almost anything!
A lot of the methods for curing panic attacks are very temporary, some less so, but, as far as I know only one cure works. Only one cure works fast and is totally natural. We’ll cover that in a bit.
You have to wonder…what is a panic attack, anyway? It’s your already heightened state of anxiety suddenly turning up intensity, causing all kinds of symptoms from not being able to breathe, red face, sweating, and the fearful feeling that you are not quite “all there.
There are also the thoughts and emotions that go on during this insane rush of physical symptoms.
The biggest emotion, or feeling, is that of fear. And fear is the key to stopping panic attacks.
We inherited the “fight or flight” instinct from our ancestors who survived because of this trait and others. This set of behavioral characteristics will, at the onset of something truly fearful, like a bear near you on the trail, increase your heart rate and flood your body with adrenaline!
We have this instinct for survival built into us at a deep level. As it did our ancestors, it allows us to survive and pass on the adrenaline rush to our progeny. It’s all part of the big plan.
It isn’t normal to have the thought of a business meeting trigger the fear of a panic attack in the meeting, then cause the panic attack to ensue. That’s definitely NOT normal. I know. I did it.
This scenario is played out daily by tens of thousand of people who are stuck in this sort of a self fulfilling premonition.
You fear a panic attack and the fear causes the arrival of the attack! THERE’S a Catch22 if i ever saw one.
You see, people who don’t have the panic attack syndrome running amok in their lives, will encounter something dangerous, jump into the “solution mode” (fight or flight) and deal with it. They’ll run away or, in some manner , be stronger than the fear.
But a person who is stuck, temporarily, with the panic attack, super anxiety disorder will encounter their little fear trigger, which is commonly their fear of a panic attack, and it’ll quickly escalate into a full blown fear and panic episode.
When I was struggling with panic attacks (for six years!) my fear trigger was the thought of a meeting, business or personal. I was afraid that I would have a panic attack that caused me to behave like a crazy man, AND that I wouldn’t be able to explain it to my friends and associates! So, even though my main fear was that of a panic attack, it was also all tied up with embarrassment, ego and the feeling that maybe I really was crazy and losing it fast.
The ‘secret” of how to stop panic attacks is to get over the fear of them. Get used to them, so to speak. Once that is accomplished they are gone and, in my case, never to return
After my six years down the rabbit hole I came up with a plan to get rid of these pernicious attacks. I felt confident it would work and you should feel confident, too! Somehow, without anyone telling me, I came up with an idea that would assert and confirm my strength over the fear of the attack. It worked and I was free, and in the time it takes to sit in a car at a red light. And you can do it to. You just need to be shown how. You don’t have to figure it out by yourself!
Only you don’t have to wait six years! Discover how to stop panic attacks today.
